Our Business Director is ‘Highly Commended’ by the Institute of Directors
In the same week that we were commended for our commitment to create jobs for the long-term unemployed, our Business Director, Adam Walsh, was highly commended in the IoD Director of the Year Awards Yorkshire & North East.
Why we’ve been digging deep to support a charity for older people!
Eight green-fingered volunteers – including our Foundation Manager, Nick Elletson – have put their backs into a charity gardening project as part of our commitment to our local community.
A dedicated champion of ‘putting something back’, we encourage our staff to get involved with good causes, with all employees given a day off each calendar year to provide practical help or raise funds.
Our latest volunteering venture saw our team dig deep to help improve a community centre garden run by Older People’s Action in the Locality (OPAL) charity based in Leeds 16 which supports older people to live happy, healthy, informed lives in their own homes.

Why we’re backing The Prince’s Trust #togetherwecan campaign
The Bayford Foundation is a proud supporter and partner of the Princes Trust which has been invaluable in helping us to source candidates via non-traditional routes.
We therefore jumped at the opportunity to promote its Learn the Hard Way campaign which urges bosses to consider young people from disadvantaged backgrounds – a call to action which resonates with the Foundation’s ethos.
