Eight green-fingered volunteers – including our Foundation Manager, Nick Elletson – have put their backs into a charity gardening project as part of our commitment to our local community.
A dedicated champion of ‘putting something back’, we encourage our staff to get involved with good causes, with all employees given a day off each calendar year to provide practical help or raise funds.
Our latest volunteering venture saw our team dig deep to help improve a community centre garden run by Older People’s Action in the Locality (OPAL) charity based in Leeds 16 which supports older people to live happy, healthy, informed lives in their own homes.
Our commitment as a ‘no barriers’ employer have been acknowledged with a bronze award from the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) awarded to The Right Fuelcard Company, who runs our Foundation
As our fab foundation continues to go from strength-to-strength, we are very excited to welcome our latest recruit, ex-Royal Engineer, Ryan Hartle. We caught up with Leeds lad, Ryan, 19, who gave us the inside track on his exciting first week as a data inputter with our busy team.
We’re delighted to nominate Leeds Children’s Charity as our adopted charity for another year – because of its inspirational work to bring laughter into the lives of 7-11 year olds hailing from some of the most deprived areas in Leeds.
Our designated charity creates happy childhood memories for the neediest of families, with a fun-filled, week-long break.
The lively team at our foundation is all fired up and ready to go as we look forward to another exciting year.

The busy, buzzing first week of 2017 has seen us continue to be called on by the media for comment and opinion – with TRFC business director, Adam Walsh, invited to give his business predictions for the popular business publication Business Link.
Our foundation’s surprise Christmas party was the icing on the cake – and a fantastic way to round off a momentous year for our top team.
The organisers – comprising dynamic duo Nick Dodsworth and Martin Taylor-Hemingway – managed to keep everything under wraps until the big night on Friday the 16th of December.
