As our fab foundation continues to go from strength-to-strength, we are very excited to welcome our latest recruit, ex-Royal Engineer, Ryan Hartle. We caught up with Leeds lad, Ryan, 19, who gave us the inside track on his exciting first week as a data inputter with our busy team.
The Foundation’s powerful ‘back story’ has been heard by the region’s business leaders at a debate spearheaded by Yorkshire Business Insider which centred on solving the region’s skills shortage.
With our third bootcamp for the Bayford Foundation due to start in January 2014, our team at BE Fuel Cards is looking forward to welcoming potential recruits to our information sessions on 6 December.
Potential employees are invited to our offices in Bowcliffe Road, Hunslet where we are hosting two information sessions at 10.30am and 12.30pm – to hear more about the opportunities available.
Recruits at the pioneering Bayford Foundation in Hunslet – which is investing up to £5,000 to support long term unemployed on an ‘earn as you learn’ training programme – have been put through their paces during a session with Leeds trainer Darren Rhodes, a former super middleweight boxing championship level fighter.
As part of their 12- week ‘bootcamp’ training programme to equip them with sales and wider life skills, Darren harnessed boxing to teach the recruits the importance of discipline and timing – both of which are critical in selling products and services.
It’s official – our Foundation Patron John Turner will officially open our pioneering boot camp training programme with a flourish, a ribbon – and a pair of scissors!
Excitement is mounting among our 14 recruits and our existing BE Fuel Cards team in the lead up to our 12-week programme starting on August 12 where we’ll pay trainees while we train them in sales techniques and life skills.
