Its cake time again as we proudly announce that Alan Placid – our top sales supremo – has become our first Oil Trader to reach Post Graduate status.
Alan’s milestone comes at a particularly formative period as The Right FuelCard Company (TRFC) – a committed people champion which runs the Foundation – is marking unprecedented growth less than four years after launching.
L to R: Richard McCann – Inspirational speaker, June Forsyth – Leader of the Bayford Foundation, Jeremy Morton – Editor of South Leeds Life, Jacqueline Pfumojeno – Bayford Foundation graduate.
In the lead up to our fourth bootcamp which kicks off on April 22 we’ve come up ten fantastic reasons why you should come on board with the foundation which has created 13 jobs to date.
Recruits at the pioneering Bayford Foundation in Hunslet – which is investing up to £5,000 to support long term unemployed on an ‘earn as you learn’ training programme – have been put through their paces during a session with Leeds trainer Darren Rhodes, a former super middleweight boxing championship level fighter.
As part of their 12- week ‘bootcamp’ training programme to equip them with sales and wider life skills, Darren harnessed boxing to teach the recruits the importance of discipline and timing – both of which are critical in selling products and services.
Teaming up for success: Neil (2nd row first left) with Be Fuel Cards team members and recruits.
Having met our mentor Alan Placid, we’re now putting the spotlight on Neil Dawson who is also playing a key role in training and developing our recruits to be sales supremos.
Neil is passing his expertise onto our recruits who are being paid, trained and inspired to be the best they can be on our 12 week holistic programme which is at the milestone half way stage.
We’re really keen for you to meet our Bayford Foundation mentors Alan Placid and Neil Dawson who are instrumental in our aspirational and inspirational programme to create jobs for the future through our ‘earn as you learn’ boot camp programmes.
Our pioneering Foundation is investing up to £5,000 to put trainees from all walks of life and backgrounds through rolling training programmes – and paying them a salary for their duration. Successful candidates will be awarded a university recognised qualification from the University of Derby and go on to earn a minimum £16k annual salary with our BE Fuel Cards team – with the potential to ramp up their earnings as they progress with us.
