Our foundation’s surprise Christmas party was the icing on the cake – and a fantastic way to round off a momentous year for our top team.
The organisers – comprising dynamic duo Nick Dodsworth and Martin Taylor-Hemingway – managed to keep everything under wraps until the big night on Friday the 16th of December.

We’re on a roll – and wanted to share the exciting news with you that we’re featured in a three-page, full colour feature in the Yorkshire Post’s ‘Yorkshire Vision’ magazine.
The article ‘Inmates to workmates’ by business reporter, Ismail Mulla, focuses on how The Right Fuelcard Company (TRFC) and our groundbreaking Bayford Foundation training arm have solved a skills gap over the past few years.
The feature outlined how we achieved this by helping long-term unemployed people and ex-offenders – with no previous sales experience – into careers by uncovering their potential.
We’re celebrating the achievements of yet another fantastic Bayford Foundation graduate – but this time it’s for their success in an external qualification rather than a move to The Right Fuelcard Company’s (TRFC) sales team.
Our foundation manager, Nick Elletson, has gained his CIPD Level 5 Diploma in HR Management at a vibrant award ceremony at Leeds University. He was formally presented with his certificate by bestselling author, broadcaster and educator Gervase Phinn.
The event was the culmination of a year’s hard work for Nick which, along with his busy day role, saw him studying one evening a week at Leeds City College, followed by a raft of assignments and revision at home most weekends.
Well done to our latest terrific graduate from the Bayford Foundation who has just moved into her new role with The Right Fuelcard Company sales team.
Mum-of-two, Roxanne Barnes, from Swarcliffe is the first part time employee to graduate from the Bayford Foundation after making the grade as a fab part time data inputter very quickly.
Roxanne joined our new inclusive and flexible part time employment initiative in August. With team members working between 9.30am-2.30pm, it is geared towards those whose circumstances require a shorter working day, such as the parents of school age children. Continue reading

A nine-strong team from The Right Fuelcard Company (TRFC) – which runs our fantastic foundation – has braved the UK’s toughest 12K to bolster funds for Leeds Children’s Charity by more than £1,150. Continue reading
