Oh what a night – we’re celebrating a fabulous business award

We’re all jaded but elated in the office today after a storming evening that saw The Right Fuelcard Company (TRFC) which runs our Foundation, scoop the Small Business category of the Yorkshire  Business Masters 2017 awards.

The accolades are spearheaded by TheBusinessDesk.com and the Small Business award recognises a business in the region that has demonstrated outstanding development and growth in performance.

We were also honoured to be nominated in the Employer category, which celebrates a company that is “great to work for”.

Why our flexible working is a winning formula

They include Demi Bray, who joined The Right Fuelcard Company (TRFC) after successfully completing the Bayford Foundation employment programme.

Twenty two year old Demi, a single parent, joined the Foundation in February 2016 following a recommendation by InterServe – one of our valued community partners who identify suitable candidates for training and employment.

Why our Christmas party was a tree-mendous success!


Our foundation’s surprise Christmas party was the icing on the cake – and a fantastic way to round off a momentous year for our top team.

The organisers – comprising dynamic duo Nick Dodsworth and Martin Taylor-Hemingway – managed to keep everything under wraps until the big night on Friday the 16th of December.

After guessing (and being wide off the mark!) as to where we were partying and letting our hair down – we all gathered with excitement and anticipation in Leeds city centre when all was revealed. Continue reading

We’re on a roll – and wanted to share the exciting news with you that we’re featured in a three-page, full colour feature in the Yorkshire Post’s ‘Yorkshire Vision’ magazine.

The article ‘Inmates to workmates’ by business reporter, Ismail Mulla, focuses on how The Right Fuelcard Company (TRFC) and our groundbreaking Bayford Foundation training arm have solved a skills gap over the past few years.

The feature outlined how we achieved this by helping long-term unemployed people and ex-offenders – with no previous sales experience – into careers by uncovering their potential.

Whoop whoop – another fantastic trainee graduates from the Bayford Foundation


Well done to our latest terrific graduate from the Bayford Foundation who has just moved into her new role with The Right Fuelcard Company sales team.

Mum-of-two, Roxanne Barnes, from Swarcliffe is the first part time employee to graduate from the Bayford Foundation after making the grade as a fab part time data inputter very quickly.

Roxanne joined our new inclusive and flexible part time employment initiative in August. With team members working between 9.30am-2.30pm, it is geared towards those whose circumstances require a shorter working day, such as the parents of school age children. Continue reading
