On a high: we’re celebrating a double award nomination!

Top team: TRFC celebrates Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For 2016

Our first fab award nominations of 2017 have seen The Right Fuelcard Company (TRFC), who runs our Foundation, shortlisted in two categories of TheBusinessDesk Business Masters Awards – Small Business and Employer.

The Small Business award recognises a business in the region that has demonstrated outstanding development and growth in performance. The Employer category celebrates a company that is “great to work for” – which might include a commitment to training and development.

The Business Masters is fast becoming one of the key dinners in the region’s business calendar. The black-tie event attracts key influencers, decision makers and business owners from across Yorkshire to see the winners in ten categories announced.

It aims to find the best of Yorkshire’s businesses – whether it be their commitment to the community or their ambitious growth – that sets them apart. The team at TFRC will be putting on their poshest frocks and dinner jackets when all is revealed on March 30 at The Queens Hotel, Leeds.

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish the best of luck to our fellow contestants in both categories. The Business Masters nominations come just two weeks after TRFC scooped a bronze award from the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS). This is provided by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and recognises UK employers’ commitment to support those who serve or have served.

Ranked 33 in the Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For 2016 (also listed 12th for employees’ well-being and 11th for its strong and caring team culture) – TRFC has amassed a strong track record of fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Don’t’ forget we’re always keen to talk to potential recruits from all walks of life who are striving to achieve their potential – about our fantastic training opportunities.
