We’re going for gold with TheReallyFunCompetition!

Updated TRFC Olympics event montage

Yorkshire may not quite have Rio’s sights, climate or beaches, but that hasn’t deterred us from holding our very own sports event, “TheReallyFunCompetition”.

The countdown to the vibrant event saw The Right Fuelcard Company – which runs our fab foundation – festooning the office with national flags and garlands to add an international flavour to the proceedings.

The two-week competition sprung into action on August 6th when our teams were allocated groups and assigned a country. A BIG thank you to our dynamic duo Craig and Victoria for organising the event which has seen a feast of fun competitions spanning pool, FIFA, darts –  and a wealth of other challenges.

The grand finale will present the winning teams with chocolate gold medals, which will no doubt go down a proverbial treat! We’ll keep you posted!

The fun fortnight is one of many team building events and outings that our employees, who refer to us as ‘their second home’, enjoy and relish.

An acknowledged people champion, we were ranked 33 in the prestigious Sunday Times Best Small Company to Work For 2016 – achieving a 3 star accreditation for “exceptional” levels of employee engagement based on independent feedback from our staff via the Best Company questionnaire.

Additional recent events and team outings have included meals out and attending awards events. The latter includes The Harrogate Advertiser Business Awards where we carried off the Best Large Company accolade and the IoD’s Yorkshire & North East Director of the Year Awards 2016 where our Business Director, Adam Walsh, was shortlisted in the Young Director category for entrants under the age of 42, with ‘outstanding achievements’ under their belt. Team members also enjoyed a great night out when Adam was shortlisted for the Young Yorkshire Company Director of the Year category in the inaugural Insider Yorkshire Business Leaders Awards.

Our staff enjoy a wealth of benefits including 26 days annual holiday allowance (increasing with length of service), plus bank holidays, an extra day off on their birthday (after a year of service) and a 3pm Friday finish.

We’re always on the lookout for great people to join our teams who work across Leeds, York and Harrogate. For more information on The Bayford Foundation and job opportunities available, visit http://www.bayfordfoundation.co.uk or call 0113 202 5129
