WOW – it’s been another storming awards week for The Right Fuelcard Company (TRFC), which runs our Bayford Foundation, with the news that we’ve made the finals of the popular and highly competitive Harrogate Advertiser Series Business Awards 2016.
Our TRFC team will be getting out their post frocks and dinner jackets to find out if we won the Best Large Company category at the glittering celebration ceremony at Harrogate’s Majestic Hotel on April 11.
The sought-after Harrogate Advertiser awards cover a large and robust economic region with a diverse mix of companies. Those shortlisted across all the awards categories span sectors including hospitality, retail, tourism (including a vineyard), automotive, medical and IT.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to wish our fellow contestants in the Best Large Company category – Cedar Court Hotel, FB Taylor and Spear Travels – the very best of luck.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of TRFC being ranked 34 in the Sunday Times Best 100 Small Companies to Work For – receiving a 3 Star Accreditation, the highest accolade a company can receive, for “exceptional” levels of employee engagement.
At the same time we received the special ‘Discovering Potential Award’ for our pioneering Bayford Foundation which has forged strong partnerships with community organisations such as the Prince’s Trust and Probation Service. Since launching in 2013, our foundation has created a wealth of sales jobs in the energy industry which are delivering long term career opportunities for local people.
Just two weeks after the Sunday Times ranking announcement in London, our fantastic business director Adam Walsh attended a major event in Leeds for his shortlisting for the Young Yorkshire Company Director of the Year at the first Insider Yorkshire Business Leaders Awards.
We’re always recruiting great people to join us as we continue to go from strength to strength. For more information on job opportunities available with The Bayford Foundation and The Right Fuelcard Company, call 0113 202 5129.
