Its cake time again as we proudly announce that Alan Placid – our top sales supremo – has become our first Oil Trader to reach Post Graduate status.
Alan’s milestone comes at a particularly formative period as The Right FuelCard Company (TRFC) – a committed people champion which runs the Foundation – is marking unprecedented growth less than four years after launching.
With a 49 strong team across its Leeds headquarters, Harrogate office – and with plans underway for a third office launch – we’re forecasting a further team expansion of 20% across 2017-2018.
Alan has played an instrumental role in our dynamic growth journey, undertaking roles including Team Leader and mentor. Feeling gutted after being made redundant, he joined us in December 2011 when we had just a handful of employees.
Based at our Harrogate office, Alan says TRFC feels like his second home. “I’ve never seen a company engender so much loyalty. It’s not like going to work and I’m blown away every day.
“I’m very proud of being the first sales Post Graduate and I’m delighted to be adding value and helping to hit the financial targets.
“TRFC and the Foundation turns people’s lives around. I’ve been here from the early days and I’ve felt and seen the very special sense of belonging here which I’ve never found anywhere else. The company really looks after its people – I’ve been given a ‘roadmap’ outlining my journey and the exciting opportunities which lie ahead.”
An experienced and valued leadership and management team leads from the front and our wider business strategy is fuelled by a powerful HR approach which substantially invests in training and developing each team member – whatever their status.
Every employee’s training links into the wider business strategy and key staff have individual ‘roadmaps’ with personal goals and objectives which dovetail into our overarching strategy.
If you’re looking for a career in sales with a ‘go getting’ business which is IIP accredited – and which really does care about its people – then get in touch as we have 14 sales roles up for grabs.
Explains Business Director Adam Walsh: “We operate a three tier system for talented sales staff – Graduate level, Post Graduate and Masters. Our structure offers long term career potential for those who succeed. Whereas most sales people have to move to management for salary increases, we offer sales people salary advancement while remaining in the job that they are performing in.”
